2 tomatoes
3 cups dahi (yoghurt)
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt to taste

¼ cup chopped mint

Take a large bowl and mix dahi with garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Add the turkey pieces and coat them with the marinade. Let it rest for at least 6 hours.
Cook rice with spices like bay leaves, cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Set aside.
Saute bay leaves, cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Add onion and cook till translucent.
Stir in ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and cook till they are mushy.
Add the marinated turkey pieces and cook till brown on all sides.
Pour a cup of water and let the contents simmer for about half an hour.
Take a large serving bowl and spread half of the cooked rice, top with cooked turkey, and layer the remaining rice.
Garnish with chopped cilantro and mint, along with fried onions. Serve hot.
