One of the first eateries in India to adopt and implement the 'Farm to Table' concept was The Table, which operates The Table Farm. It began at Jay and Gauri's property in Sasawane, Alibag, in 2012. The goal of the one-acre farm was to provide as much fresh, chemical-free produce as possible for The Table while still growing the best quality vegetables.

Adrienne Thadani of Good Karma Farms, specialising in urban farming, helped launch the Table Farm. Heirloom tomatoes, spinach, beetroots, radish, microgreens, coriander, lettuces, edible flowers, mango, passion fruit, and more are among the fruits, vegetables, and herbs that are harvested at the farm an hour's drive from The Table for use in the kitchen.

In addition to its distinctive flavour, The Table has been using a farm-to-table strategy for more than ten years to win the hearts of people.
