An extremely popular chicken curry at restaurants as well as dinner parties at home, kadhai chicken is loved for its tantalising flavour, and got its name from the cooking technique, which uses 'kadhai' (wok) to make the feisty curry. And the best part is that one can cook paneer and mushroom too with the same technique.
Kadhai chicken has marinated chicken peices, fried and added to sautéed onion-tomato mix with spices in a wok. The spices such as chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and kasuri methi lends a heavenly flavour to the curry, which is cooked for about 10-15 minutes and served with a generous garnishing of cream on top.
