Keema, is perhaps, one of the most versatile meat items there is. The word ‘keema’ is derived from Turkish word 'Kıyma', which means minced meat. In India, Keema grew in popularity during the medieval era. It travelled with the Turkik and Persian rulers who came to India via the North-west frontier. Keema was used in kebabs of all kinds, and in curries too. Many people think mutton keema is superior to chicken keema, for its natural fat content and flavour, but loyal chicken lovers, like me, would always opt for chicken keema, and it is a good thing that it is much healthier too in comparison to keema of other red meat. Here are 5 chicken keema recipes that are just too good to be true.
