This Panchamrit Drink Can Be A Refreshing Addition In Your Daily Diet

Panchamrit is a pure concoction of five vital ingredients namely milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar. Each of the five ingredients represent a unique spiritual meaning and effect. Most of us remember having a spoonful of panchamrit at the end of every holy puja in HIndu tradition which was offered to us as prasad. Who says that being a holy drink we can only have it during pujas or traditional festivals? It is highly suggested that one must drink it every once in a while, or have a spoonful of it every morning as it’s ultra-nourishing, pure and beneficial loaded with healthy ingredients and holy water. Ayurveda suggests that a regular consumption of this drink can have several superior effects on the human body as it helps keep our mind cool, leaving us refreshed. Drinking panchamrit also helps in boosting immunity, strength and helps in mental and physical stress. This holy drink is beyond excellent and very refreshing, a must for all. Follow the steps mentioned ahead to find out how you can make it at home with simple vital ingredients found in every household. 

Ingredients- (Serving for 2)

  1. 2 cup plain yogurt
  2. 3-4 drops of ganga jal
  3. 2 drops of rosewater
  4. 1 cup cold milk
  5. 3-4 tulsi leaves
  6. 2 tbsp honey
  7. 3 tablespoon sugar 
  8. Buttermilk 

Method-

  1. In a large bowl, take a plain yogurt and whisk it until you can see no lumps.
  2. Then add cold milk, honey, buttermilk and sugar. Whisk all the ingredients well for 5-10 minutes.
  3. At the end add some drops of gangajal and rosewater. Also, add tulsi leaves.
  4. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender until you get a smooth fin paste.
  5. Panchamrut drink is ready. Tastes best when served chilled.
