Who doesn’t love cookies? Whenever we think of baking cookies, we get scared by the thought of a lot of chaos. We think that it would consume a lot of our time and hard work. But what if we say that you can bake cookies with just three to four ingredients, that too in just 15 to 20 mins? You absolutely can.
Not only these easy and quick cookies will be mouth-watering but will be a go-to snack for birthday parties and small get-togethers. These are even travel-friendly as you can carry them wherever you want just in an air-tight container. You won’t require any mixer or fancy kitchen gadgets to bake these cookies. All you need is a bowl and an oven or a microwave. Let’s see a few recipes for some quick and delicious cookies.
Four Ingredient Almond/cashew cookie
Ingredients
- 75 gm salted butter
- 30 gm icing sugar
- 125 gm all-purpose flour/Maida
- Chopped almonds/cashew as per choice
Method
- Add butter and icing sugar to a bowl and mix until creamy
- Add flour/Maida and kneed into a soft dough
- Line a 5x5 inch pan with parchment paper and spread the cookie dough evenly on it
- Mark the cuts in the dough
- Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 15-18 mins
Three ingredients Choco rose cookies
Ingredients
- 100 gm Milk Chocolate
- 2tbsp Flour/Maida
- 2tbsp Cornflour
Method
- Melt chocolate in a microwave to form a liquid consistency
- Add flour and cornflour mix until you have a thick pipeable batter
- Pipe the cookies using any piping tip on a parchment paper-lined baking tray
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 8-10mins
Four ingredient Mini Choco-chip cookie
- 45 gm Soft Butter
- 3 tbsp Icing Sugar
- 6 tbsp Flour/Maida
- 1-2tsp milk (only if needed)
- Chocolate chips for garnish
Method
- Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Mix in the flour and form a thick pipeable dough. Add milk if required to reach the desired consistency
- Place in a piping bag fitted with a round piping tip
- Pipe cookies on parchment paper on the baking tray
- Place chocolate chips on top and bake in preheated oven 180C for 10-12 mins
Jeera Cookie
Ingredients
- 50 grams Ghee
- 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cup+ 2 tsp Flour/Maida
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Roasted Jeera/Cumin
Method
- Whisk ghee and sugar together for a few mins
- Add flour, salt, and jeera
- Put in a piping bag with a pipe on a baking tray lined with parchment paper
- Sprinkle some unfrosted jeera on top (Optional)
- Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 15-18mins or until done
Aata Cookies
Ingredients
- 55 gm Ghee
- 65 gm powdered sugar
- 125 gm Aata (wheat flour)
- ½ tbsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1-2 tsp milk
Method
- Add Ghee and powdered sugar to a bowl and mix until creamy
- Add Aata, Baking Powder, and salt
- Kneed into a soft dough using milk
- Line a 5x5 inch pan with parchment paper and spread the cookie dough evenly on it
- Mark cuts in the dough and make designs using a fork
- Bake at 180C for 15 to 18 mins
