Martinez
This is a spin on the classic martini. To make this, you’ll need one and half an ounce of London dry gin, one and a half ounces of sweet vermouth, two dashes of Angostura bitters. Most of this stuff will be available in your local liquor store. In a tall glass add all the ingredients and loads of ice and stir. Stir till the glass is cold, strain, and serve in a couple of glasses. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy!
Gin Rickey
Named after democratic lobbyists Joe Rickey, this is one traditional gin cocktail you have to try. This drink is for those who don’t enjoy sugar in their gin. You’ll need 2 ounces of gin, half an ounce of lime juice, and a dash of club soda to prepare this. Mix all the ingredients in a tall glass with ice, strain, and serve. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Gin Mule
A non-traditional take on the Moscow mule which is a vodka cocktail, this drink is refreshing and minty good. This takes 2 ounces of gin, 2 ounces of ginger beer, a tablespoon of simple syrup, a tablespoon of lemon juice, and a couple of fresh mint leaves. Throw all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain and serve in a mug and top with some mint.
