The utmost key difference between North Indian mixed vegetable and Goan mixed vegetable is that North Indian one is made using garam masala while on the other hand the Goan dishes consist of an exquisite blend of local Xacuti masala powder, a combination of various local spices, coconut and chillies etc. 

 

As most of us know that North Indian dishes are made using tomato and onion gravy but Goan families use coconut in their dishes. Coconut grows in abundance in Goa which makes it evident and a popular ingredient in mostly all Goan delicacies.
