From its clear, broth-like appearance to its delicious taste, lemon-coriander soup is the perfect appetiser for those seeking both comfort and wellness. It is a cosy dish that is also wholesome and delectable. And it is easy on the stomach. It contains high levels of vitamin C to combat stress and also prevents the common cold, pneumonia, and other lung-related illnesses.
The health benefits of lemon-coriander soup are:
- Lemon coriander includes lemon juice, which is a good source of vitamin C and promotes the production of white blood cells and antibodies in the blood. This increases immunity by preventing the entry of numerous bacteria and diseases. The vitamin C in lemon juice also shields against the common cold.
- Most Indian dishes include coriander to add flavour. This serves as a fresh herb garnish for the dish and is high in vitamin C. This ingredient also contains vitamin A, which is essential since it works with vitamin C to strengthen the immune system. Consuming coriander in any form preserves or increases red blood cells since it is high in iron and folate.
- When added to the chicken lemon coriander soup, the ascorbic acid in the lemon juice will help in the absorption of iron from the food, which can treat anaemia.
- In lemon-coriander soup, the phytonutrients in the onions aid in the body's production of white blood cells. Additionally, it strengthens the body's defences against all ailments. It also includes quercetin, the most important antioxidant, which raises levels of good cholesterol in the body and lowers the risk of numerous cardiovascular issues. Another important onion component that aids in blood clotting and functions as a suitable blood thinner is Sulphur. Onions are also beneficial for diabetes and high blood pressure.
