What do your movie nights, Netflix binge sessions, sports gatherings, kitty parties, and road trips have in common? Crunchy snacks, especially crispy nachos by Cornitos, are the life of these social events, but now Cornitos Custies will be India’s new obsession. Their latest five flavours - Fiery Peri Peri, Sour Cream & Onion, Korean Chilli, Classic Cheese Balls, and Honey Chilli Potato - are going to please Gen Zs, who are always looking to taste something new. “We started this journey 15 years ago with nachos, and today, we are at the launch of Crusties in two different shapes - waves and puffs. We have come up with new and trendy flavours to cater to our young Gen Z population,” added Mr Vikram Agarwal, Managing Director, Cornitos, Greendot Health Foods Pvt. Ltd. (GHFPL).
The speciality about these crunchy snacks is that they are baked, not fried, making them a guilt-free option to indulge in while enjoying the explosion of earthy, spicy, umami, creamy, cheesy, Chinese, and Korean notes in your mouth. “We have spent a lot of time creating new flavours while keeping the target audience in mind. We have always followed the idea of bringing international flavours to the Indian snack market,” said Shobhit Agarwal, Director, Cornitos.
Launch Of Cornitos Crusties
On March 24, 2025, Cornitos hosted an event at Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa, Faridabad, to launch Crusties. Media, influencers, and dignitaries of Cornitos gathered to witness the unveiling of the five luscious flavours.
The event started with the lighting of lamps by Mr Vikram Agarwal, Ms Manisha Agarwal, Director, Cornitos, and Mr Shobhit Agarwal. Later, pillars of Cornitos gathered on the stage to unveil the five Crusties that are soon going to be a part of every Indian pantry.
After Mr Vikram Agarwal and Mr Shobhit Agarwal’s address, attendees were invited to a canvas painting activity in which they had to paint Corny the Chimp, the mascot of Cornitos. Media interactions and interviews with Mr Vikram Agarwal and Mr Shobhit Agarwal were followed by a lavish dinner.
Cornitos Crusties New And Trendy Flavours
Cheese lovers will be impressed by Classic Cheese Balls Crusties. “It is more cheesy, boasts a soft texture, and leaves you with a cheese burst,” said Vikram Agarwal. He also suggested enjoying Fiery Peri Peri Crusties with red wine and chilli garlic noodles. However, if you like something creamy and sweet, you should go with Sour Cream & Onion Crusties.
Korean Chilli stands out among all five flavours, and one might think about how they managed to ace the balancing of notes in a baked puff. Shobhit Agarwal added, “Korean food and products are flooding Indian markets. We thought of taking a dig at creating a Korean-flavoured snack. Following this lead, we were able to innovate and come up with Korean Chilli Crusties.”
According to the Director of Cornitos, the most surprising flavour for the Indian audience will be Honey Chilli Potato. “It is something that was always on the agenda for us. My dad [Mr Vikram Agarwal] asked me to do R&D and come up with a product that does not exist in the market. Since Indo-Chinese food is among the biggest hits in India, we came up with Honey Chilli Potato Crusties to suit everyone's palate.”
