Ingredients
For crumble
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2tbsp cornmeal flour
- 2tbsp mixed seeds (mix of pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, melon seeds and sesame seeds)
- 1cup mix berries
For compote
- ½ tbsp brown sugar
- ¼ cup chopped pineapple
Instructions
- Cut the butter into small cubes.
- In a bowl, take butter, sugar and cornmeal flour. Using your hands, mix them gently until it resembles a crumble. Spread it on a baking tray.
- In a pre-heated oven, bake it at 180*c for 10 minutes. Collect the crumble in a bowl and mix the multi seeds, and keep them aside.
- In a saucepan, take all the berries and cook along with sugar for 8 to 10 minutes on medium heat. Then, strain it and remove all the liquid.
- In a small ramekin, put this berry mix at the bottom and top with the earlier prepared crumble mixture and bake in a preheated oven at 180*c for 10 minutes.
For pineapple compote
- In a saucepan, take the pineapples, add sugar. Now cook on medium heat for ten minutes. Remove from heat when the pineapples become tender.
- Put a teaspoon of pineapple compote on top of the prepared berry crumble.
