Chocolate is a versatile element in the world of baking. From moulds to sauces, it can be used to enhance the flavours, plating, and texture of a delectable. Its spreads are slurp-worthy and quite easy to create, especially if you have a wet grinder from a wide range of Usha's kitchen appliances.
The appliance is a one-stop solution for creating batters and dips, but it can be used to prepare glossy and smooth chocolate sauces. If you haven't used this modern tool for unique purposes, you are not using it to its full potential.
Dark Chocolate Spread
Melt dark chocolate in the microwave or over a double boiler. Before adding it to the Usha's wet grinder, let it cool a little. Add cocoa powder and powdered sugar together with some salt which helps to enhance the taste. Use coconut or vegetable oil to add creaminess, which will help you achieve the desired consistency. Blend the ingredients until you have a glossy and smooth sauce. The final result is a rich dark chocolate spread which you can pour over toast and waffles.
Milk Chocolate Ganache
Due to its versatility, milk chocolate ganache is used for both frosting and filling in various cakes and pastries. Cut it into tiny bits and put the chocolate in your wet grinder. In a separate saucepan, heat heavy cream until it begins to simmer; then pour it over the chopped chocolate. Before blending in the grinder, let it settle for a few minutes or until the chocolate melts. You can add almond or vanilla extract elevating the taste.

Spiced Chocolate
Start by melting dark chocolate in a microwave, and let it cool a little before moving it to your Usha's wet grinder. Add a spice combination to this according to your personal preferences. A little bit of cayenne pepper, a pinch of cinnamon, ginger powder or nutmeg can make the spread aromatic and improve its flavour profile. Blend the chocolate and spices until you have a smooth paste. This mixture can be poured into moulds to make chocolate desserts or used as a rich dipping sauce for fruits and marshmallows.
Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
To make hazelnuts more flavourful, roast them in the oven until lightly brown. The roasted nuts should be cooled before being ground into a smooth paste in the grinder. Add powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, and melted milk or dark chocolate to the ground hazelnuts. Blend until everything is smooth and silky. This mixture is perfect for spreading on sweets and bread.
Fruit-Flavoured Chocolate
First, melt milk or white chocolate in a microwave. Incorporate pureed fruits (fresh or frozen) like mangoes, raspberries, or strawberries to it. If needed, add powdered sugar to adjust sweetness. The fruit puree will give this mixture its rich flavours and colours when it is blended thoroughly. This mixture can be used as a filling for chocolates or desserts.
Coffee Chocolate
Make a strong coffee the way you like (strong coffee, like espresso). Melt the milk or dark chocolate. Then, gradually pour in the brewed coffee and mix until smooth. Consider adding instant coffee granules for a little extra richness and caffeine. Blend until all ingredients are fully combined; this combination can be added to baked products like brownies or served as a rich sauce over ice cream.
