Directions: Yellow Dal With Dill And Spinach Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Rinse and soak the yellow dal for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, add the soaked dal, water, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is soft and mushy.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida. Once the seeds start to splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
