Ingredients for Yakibuta Recipe

  • 2 pound pork shoulder butt
  • 1/2 C soy sauce
  • 1/4 C Sake
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 4-5 thick slices ginger root
  • 1 clove garlic

Directions: Yakibuta Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. tie the meat with a cotton string as shown

step 2

  • STEP 1.2-add all the ingredients and the meat in a plastic bag

step 3

  • STEP 1.tie the bag and refrigerate the marinated meat for 5hrs

step 4

  • STEP 2.1- bake the meat for 1hr 30mins in a preheated oven to 350f

step 5

  • STEP 3.2- cool it for 30min and open the strings

step 6

  • STEP 4.3- serve after slicing
