Fujian Famous wonton soup is a homemade wonton soup, a soup with dumplings and stir-fried vegetables. These wontons are filled with a juicy pork and shrimp or prawns filling that will definetly knock your socks off.

Ingredients for Wonton Soup Recipe

  • 1 No.s Napa Cabbage
  • 1 No.s Scallion
  • 2 piece Fresh ginger
  • 360 gram Ground Pork
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground White Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 No.s Egg
  • 1.50 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sherry Wine
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chicken Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Distilled White Vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 20 No.s Wonton Wrappers

Directions: Wonton Soup Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 cut the cabbage into stripes. Add to a large bowl and add ginger, scallion and separate the white and green parts.

  • STEP 2.Add garlic and white part to the bowl.

step 3

  • STEP 3.2 add ground pork to the bowl along with ground white pepper  , soy sauce  , egg, oyster sauce, sherry wine , granulated sugar , and sesame oil.mix the ingredients together.

  • STEP 4.3 fill 1 tsp of stuffing in wonton

step 5

  • STEP 5.1 in a pot, add water,vegetable oil , chicken powder  , salt , granulated sugar  , ground white pepper, sherry wine, sesame oil and the chopped green onion.

step 6

  • STEP 6.2 once the water comes to a boil, add the wontons. Once the water starts boiling again, turn the heat to medium-low and cook for 4 minutes. Stir gently and occasionally.

step 7

  • STEP 7.3 after 4 minutes, turn off the heat and add in distilled white vinegar. Garnish with some scallions.
