  • 0.13 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour, grated jaggery, fennel seeds, and cardamom powder.
  • STEP 2.Gradually add milk to make a thick batter. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee in a pan and pour a ladleful of batter to make small pancakes.
  • STEP 4.Cook until golden brown on both sides and remove from the pan.
  • STEP 5.In a separate pan, heat water and jaggery to make the syrup. Add cardamom powder.
  • STEP 6.Dip the malpuas in the syrup for a few seconds and remove.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot garnished with chopped nuts and a drizzle of syrup.
