Ingredients for Wheat usli Recipe

  • 0.33 cup Wheat
  • 0.08 g Carrot ( grated )
  • 0.08 g Fresh coconut ( grated )
  • 0.67 tsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • as required Lemon juice
  • 0.33 tsp Oil
  • 0.33 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 0.17 tsp jeera
  • A Few Curry leaves few
  • A Pinch Hing
  • 0.33 tsp green chilli paste
  • as required Salt as required

Directions: Wheat Usli Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak wheat for about 6 to 8 hrs.
  • STEP 2.Cook in a pressure cooker till soft.
  • STEP 3.Drain the water and keep aside.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan , add mustard, jeera , curry leaves and hing.
  • STEP 5.When mustard starts splutter, add boiled wheat , chilli paste, carrot and grated coconut.
  • STEP 6.Saute for a minute.
  • STEP 7.Now add salt and lemon juice.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with coriander leaves.
