  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Coconut Paste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Pressure cook lentils and bottle gourd until soft.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 5.Add the cooked lentils and bottle gourd. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add coconut paste and simmer for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with rice or roti.

  • You can add a pinch of asafoetida for extra flavor.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
