  • 1/4 cup Rice Flour
  • 1/4 cup Jaggery
  • 0.13 cup Grated Coconut
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a pan, melt jaggery with water and strain to remove impurities.
  • STEP 2.In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, grated coconut, and the melted jaggery.
  • STEP 3.Add cardamom powder and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  • STEP 4.Grease the kuzhiyappam moulds with ghee and fill them with the batter.
  • STEP 5.Steam the kuzhiyappams for about 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  • STEP 6.Remove from the moulds and serve warm.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to strain the melted jaggery to remove any impurities.
  • You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors of the kuzhiyappams.
