Ingredients for Vegetable poha Recipe

  • 62.50 gms Poha
  • 0.06 cup chopped onions
  • As required ⅓ cup fresh green peas
  • As required ½ cup chopped vegetables
  • As required Salt
  • As required Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder – each
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 0.06 cup Raw peanuts
  • 1/4 nos Lemon juice – juice of lemon
  • 0-1/2 nos Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp chopped green chillis
  • As required Sufficient water to sprinkle on poha to soak

Directions: Vegetable Poha Recipe

  • STEP 1.First of all, sprinkle sufficient water to soak poha to make it soft and keep aside
  • STEP 2.In a pan or kadhai, heat oil and fry peanuts until brown, and take them out
  • STEP 3.In the same oil fry potato cubes and fry. Take them out and keep them aside
  • STEP 4.Now add curry leaves, green chilies, and cumin seeds, when crackle, add chopped vegetables and stir for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add all the powdered spices and salt
  • STEP 6.Add soaked poha and mix everything together
  • STEP 7.Cook for 2 minutes covering the lid
  • STEP 8.Switch off the gas and add lemon juice and mix well
  • STEP 9.Serve poha hot with fried peanuts over
