Ingredients for Vegetable Au Gratin Recipe

  • 1/2 Tbsp Maida
  • 3/4 Cups Milk
  • A Handful Beans
  • A Handful Carrot
  • A Handful Potato
  • A Handful PeaS
  • A Handful Sweet corn
  • 1/2 Cups Processed cheese
  • As Required Salt
  • As Required Basil
  • As Required Oregano
  • As Required Black pepper

Directions: Vegetable Au Gratin Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil the vegetables in a pan for about 8-10 mins. Strain and keep aside. Add a little olive oil or butter in a pan, sauté the vegetables. Add little salt and black pepper.
  • STEP 2.In another pan, add 2-3 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp Maida and 1 tbsp wheat flour. Add more butter if required, the mixture should be slightly liquid. Cook it for 2-3 minutes till it starts to turn a little brown. Then add the milk slowly, keep stirring it so that no lumps are formed (for best results, use a whisker). The mix will start to thicken. Add in salt, a pinch of sugar, oregano and pepper. Once thick, add in the sautéed vegetables. Mix nicely.
  • STEP 3.Pre heat oven at 180 degrees for 15 mins.
  • STEP 4.Take a glass baking dish, pour in the Gratin. Add grated cheese on top. Bake it at a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 mins
