Seriously, does this not look like the most luscious, moist and perfect chocolate cake ever??? I swear, you'd never even begin to guess it was vegan if I didn't tell you.
Ingredients for Vegan Chocolate Cake With Creamy Chocolate Almond Butter "Buttercream". Recipe
0.38 cup All purpose flour
0.08 cup Cocoa Powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
0.09 teaspoon Salt
1/4 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup almond coconut or your milk of choice, at room temperature
0.08 cup melted coconut oil you can also use canola or olive oil
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract
0.22 cup organic sugar or coconut sugar I used coconut sugar
0.09 cup pumpkin puree Gena's recipe uses 1 cup
0.03 cup Cocoa Powder
0.03 cup Maple syrup
0.06 cup almond or cashew butter Gena's recipe only used 3 tablespoons
0.13 teaspoon vanilla optional
1.50 ounce bittersweet chocolate chopped finely
0.13 cup canned full fat coconut milk
1/4-1/2 tablespoon Maple syrup
As required Flaky sea salt for topping
