Ingredients for Veg Makhanwala Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 1/4 cup Carrot, cut into diagonals
  • 1/4 cup Capsicum, cut into diagonals
  • 1/4 cup Green beans,cut into diagonals
  • 1/4 cup Baby corn, cut into diagonals
  • 1/4 cup Cauliflower Florets
  • As required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 inch Cinnamon
  • 2 Nos Cloves
  • 2 Nos Cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 2 Nos Whole dry chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds
  • 5 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 Nos Green chilli
  • 2 Nos Onions Chopped
  • 6 Nos Cashew nuts
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoon Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Ground masala

Directions: Veg Makhanwala Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a preheated pan add 1 tsp butter, ¼ cup carrot cut into diagonals, ¼ cup capsicum cut into diagonal, ¼ cup green beans cut into diagonals, ¼ cup baby corn cut into diagonals, ¼ cup cauliflower florets and salt to taste.
  • STEP 2.Saute the vegetables and cover to cook till done.keep aside.
  • STEP 3.In a hot pan add 1 sp oil, 1 inch stick cinnamon, 2 cloves, 2 cardamom, ½ tsp black peppercorns, 2 whole dry chillies, 1 tsp coriander seeds and roast for a few seconds.
  • STEP 4.Then add 5 cloves garlic, 1 inch ginger,and 1 green chilli and stir for a few seconds.
  • STEP 5.To this add 2 onions chopped and saute till onions turn soft. Add 6 cashew nuts and stir for a few more seconds.
  • STEP 6.Empty the roasted onions with spices into a grinding jat and grind to a smooth paste.
  • STEP 7.Heat a pan and add1 tbsp butter. Add the ground paste, salt to taste and stir for a minute.
  • STEP 8.Then add ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  • STEP 9.Next add 1 cup tomato puree and mix well to fully combine with the masala.
  • STEP 10.Saute for a few minutes and add 2 tbsp cream.
  • STEP 11.To this add the cooked vegetables. Mix well.
  • STEP 12.Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add a little water to adjust the consistency of the gravy. Bring it to a brisk boil and turn off the heat. Veg makhanwala is ready.
