The delicious Combination of veggies and rice cooked on low flame on dum is definitely tryworthy recipe. You will fall in love with this biryani.
STEP 1.Wash & soak basmati rice for half an hour. Then add whole spices into it and cook the rice. Strain excess water and keep aside.
STEP 2.In a mixer jar, take curd, add fried onion and churn it. In this paste, add green chillies garlic paste and all dry masalas and mix it well. Also add chopped veggies to it to merinate.
STEP 3.Now heat a pan, add oil & ghee, then add cashews and saute it then take out. Add onion and capsicum slices and saute. Further add merinated veggies mixture and add salt and cook it by covering until the veggies are cooked.
STEP 4.Now heat a pot and make layers of biryani. Firstly add prepared sabji, on that rice then add saffron milk, fried onion, mint leaves, coriander leaves, fried cashews. Then again do the same layering.
STEP 5.Cover the lid and put the pot on iron casting tawa on low flame for dum and let it cook for 30 to 40 minutes.
STEP 6.Serve the delicious veg dum biryani with curd or raita.
