Ingredients for veg biryani Recipe

  • 1/4 nos Cup curd
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 nos ▢ chilli
  • As required Chopped
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tsp oil
  • As required ▢½ tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 nos ▢ tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 nos ▢ tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp garam masala
  • 1/4 nos ▢ tsp salt
  • 1/2 nos ▢ potato
  • As required Cubed
  • 1.25 nos ▢ beans
  • As required Chopped
  • 1/4 nos ▢ Carrot
  • As required Chopped
  • 3/4 nos ▢ tbsp peas
  • 2.50 nos ▢ mushroom
  • As required Chopped
  • 3/4 nos ▢ tbsp mint
  • As required Chopped
  • 3/4 nos ▢ tbsp coriander
  • As required Chopped
  • As required For rice:
  • 1/2 nos ▢ cup basmati rice
  • As required ▢water
  • As required for soaking & boiling
  • As required ▢spices
  • 3/4 nos ▢ chilli
  • As required slit
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp coriander
  • As required Chopped
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp mint
  • As required Chopped
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp salt
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 nos ▢ tsp ghee
  • As required FOR BIRYANI:
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tbsp oil
  • 1/4 nos ▢ onion
  • As required Sliced
  • 1/4 nos ▢ capsicum
  • As required Cubed
  • As required ▢fried onion
  • As required ▢½ cup saffron milk
  • 1/4 nos ▢ tsp biryani masala
  • 1/2 nos ▢ tsp ghee

Directions: Veg Biryani Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp ghee and 2 tbsp oil.
  • STEP 2.Add 1 onion and fry until the onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add 1 capsicum and fry until the capsicum turns crunchy.
  • STEP 4.Furthermore, add the prepared marination mixture and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Cover and cook for 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked almost. keep aside.
  • STEP 6.How to cook rice for biryani:
  • STEP 7.Firstly, rinse and soak 2 cup basmati rice for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Now in a large vessel take enough water.
  • STEP 9.Add mixed spices, 3 chilli, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 tbsp salt, 2 tsp lemon juice and 1 tsp ghee.
  • STEP 10.Boil for 5 minutes, or until the water turns flavourful.
  • STEP 11.Now add in soaked basmati rice and mix gently.
  • STEP 12.Boil for 5. minutes, or until the rice is 80% cooked.
  • STEP 13.Further, drain off the rice, and the rice is ready for layering in the biryani.
