Directions: Vada Pao Recipe

  • STEP 1.Make the Vada: In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and sauté onions. Add the mashed potatoes and spices, mix well, and form into small balls.
  • STEP 2.Prepare the Batter: Mix gram flour, rice flour, spices, and water to form a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Fry the Vada: Dip the potato balls in the batter and deep-fry until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Assemble: Slice the pav, spread chutneys inside, place the vada, and top with sev and fried green chilies.
