Ingredients for Upma Recipe

  • 0.33 cup semolina (sooji)
  • 0.33 tbsp Oil
  • 0.17 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 0.33 Pieces Chopped onion
  • 0.33 g Roughly chopped tomato
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.33 Pieces chopped green chilli
  • 0.08 tsp Sugar
  • 0.67 cup water
  • 2.33 Pieces Curry leaves - a few chopped

Directions: Upma Recipe

  • STEP 1.Roast the semolina till it becomes little brown.Pour it in a plate.
  • STEP 2.In the same pan,add oil & when it heats up add mustard seeds. Cook till aroma smells.
  • STEP 3.Now add curry leaves & green chillies,cook for a sec & add chopped onions.Cook for a minute & add tomatoes.cook for few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add roasted semolina & 2 cup of water.Cook on low flame till water absorbs.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot.
