Ingredients for Ullivada Recipe

  • 3/4 No.s Onion
  • 1/2 spring Curry leaves
  • 1/4 piece Ginger
  • 1/2 No.s Green chilli
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Gram flour
  • 1 tablespoon All purpose flour
  • As required Cooking oil to deep fry

Directions: Ullivada Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Take sliced onion in a bowl. Add chopped curry leaves, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies and 1 tsp salt. Mix it well with your hands.
  • STEP 2.Let it sit for 15 mins.
  • STEP 3.Add 4 tbsp gram flour and 4 tbsp maida. Mix it well.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan.
  • STEP 5.Take a small portion of the mixture and make balls. Keep the ball on your palm and gently press in the shape of Vada.
  • STEP 6. Fry it in medium flame until both sides become golden brown in colour. Make sure to fry the ullivada in batches.
  • STEP 7.Ullivada is ready to be served.
