STEP 1.Add into a vessel 2 onions sliced lengthwise, 3 chopped green chillies, ½ crushed ginger, ¼ tsp salt and 2 tbsp chopped curry leaves
STEP 2.Now mix all these ingredients by hand.
STEP 3.Add 3 tbsp of gram flour, 2 tbsp all purpose flour/maida, 1 tbsp rice flour, 2 pinch of baking soda, 1 tsp of kashmiri chilly powder, ¼ tsp of asafoetida and ¼ tsp of crushed fennel seeds.
STEP 4.Mix the entire mixture by hands till the ingredients are properly coated over the onions.
STEP 5.Preheat a frying pan with cooking oil
STEP 6.Take the mix little by little.Flatten the mix with your fingers on your palm and gently dip them into the oil for frying.
STEP 7.Toss the sides and fry in a low flame till golden brown colour.

STEP 1.Rubbing and mixing the ingredients with hands will extract the juicy liquid from onion. So there is no need to add additional water.
