Ingredients for Twice Cooked Pork Recipe

  • 500 gram Pork Belly
  • 1 No.s Red pepper
  • 1 No.s Green pepper
  • 2 No.s Spring onions
  • 1 flakes Chili tsp
  • 4 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 20 gram Ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow bean sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Light soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground red pepper
  • 20 milliliter Stock
  • As required Salt

Directions: Twice Cooked Pork Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 fill a saucepan with water, add 500 gm pork belly cut into thick 1 inch slices and boil for 30 minutes. Then remove, drain and keep aside to cool.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 when the pork is cool, cut into thin slices.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add 4 thinly sliced cloves of garlic, 20 gm finely chopped ginger, ½ tsp ground red pepper and stir fry for a few seconds.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 add the pork slices, 2 spring onions cut into 3 cm pieces and stor fry for 2 minutes.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 add 1 green and 1 red pepper cut into 1/2 cm slices, 1 tbsp light soy sauce and stir fry for 1 minute.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 add 1 tbsp yellow bean sauce, 1 tsp chili flakes, 20 ml stock and stir fry for 1 minute.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 add salt to taste, stir well and serve hot.
