One of our favorite meatball meals has become a simple sandwich:meatballs smothered in spaghetti sauce and provolone cheese and sandwiched between a lightly toasted hoagie roll. It's easy, comforting, healthy and family-friendly.
7 ounce Can crushed tomatoes, including the juices
1/2 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Parsley
1/2 teaspoon Sugar, to taste
1/2 teaspoon Crushed oregano
1/4 teaspoon Basil
1/4 teaspoon Crushed red pepper, optional
dash Black pepper
dash Salt, to taste
1.50 ounce 1 -can tomato paste
0.06 cup Water, optional, depending on the desired consistency
1/4 pound Ground turkey {or chicken
1/4 tablespoon Chopped Parsley
3/4 tablespoon Finely chopped spinach
0.19 teaspoon Garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
0.06 teaspoon Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon Paprika
0.13 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper
0.13 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
0.19 teaspoon Fennel seeds
0.06 cup Feta Cheese Crumbles
1 Hoagie Rolls
1-2 Slices of provolone cheese
0.13 cup Sliced pepperoncini peppers
