Ingredients for Turkey & Dumplings Recipe

  • As required For soup base
  • 5.33 ounce 3 containers low sodium chicken stock
  • 0.33 Medium onions diced
  • 0.17 inch 4 carrots peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 0.17 Head broccoli chopped
  • 0.33 tablespoon Butter approximately
  • 0.33 tablespoon Olive oil approximately, we use delallo olive oil
  • 0.33-1/2 cup Leftover chopped turkey meat chicken subs great
  • 0.33 Bay leaves
  • 0.08 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.08 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 0.08 teaspoon Dried thyme or a few fresh sprigs
  • 0.17 teaspoon Powdered garlic or add in a few cloves fresh
  • 0.08 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/25 teaspoon Pepper
  • 0.08 cup 1/2 and 1/2
  • 0.33 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • As required For dumplings
  • 1/4 cup Flour we tried with bobs red mill whole wheat and all purpose with equal results
  • 0.33 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.08 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.17 cup Buttermilk or 1/2 and 1/2
  • As required Serve with:grated parmesan cheese fresh black pepper
  • As required Bring chicken stock to a boil in large stockpot while you prep ingredients
