#ABD Turai is a very popular vegetable during summer and monsoon season. It is a soft and Waterbased vegetable. Turai in milk gravy is a very simple but tasty recipe. It is a pure vegetarian recipe, no use of onion and garlic. The taste of this sabji is little bit sweet taste. #ABD

Ingredients for Turai ki sabji in milk gravy Recipe

  • 1/4 Kg turai or ridge gourd
  • As Required Salt
  • 3/4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 Pieces Dry red chili
  • 3/4 Pieces Green chili slit
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/4 Tsp mustard seed
  • 1/4 Tsp Ghee
  • 3/4 Cups Milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp Mustard oil

Directions: Turai Ki Sabji In Milk Gravy Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and peel the turai and cut into medium pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat mustard oil in a pan, add slited green chili, dry red chili and mustard seed.
  • STEP 3.Now add ginger paste and fry it for few seconds.
  • STEP 4.Now add turai pieces and stir it.
  • STEP 5.Cover it with a lid and cook it in low flame till turai release the water and become soft.
  • STEP 6.Now open the lid and add salt, sugar and milk.
  • STEP 7.Now cook it in medium flame for 5-7 minutes or the gravy become thick and creamy.
  • STEP 8.Finally add ghee and serve hot with steamed rice.
