A classic arabic dish . Scrumptious and attractive to visualise and relish as well . Mostly chicken, mutton and vegetarian pulao varieties/biryani is stuffed into the bun . For a twist, i made fish chunks dum biryani and stuffed it inside the bun . Interesting! isn’t?.

  • 4 cup Basmati rice washed , soaked for 20 minutes

  • 5 Cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon large
  • 4 Green cardamom pods
  • 3 Black cardamom pods
  • 4 Star anise
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 Stone flower large crushed
  • 2 mace crushed
  • As required Fried onions
  • 1 Medium Sized Onion Sliced
  • 4 Green chillies slit lengthwise
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 7 garlic pods finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Biryani masala powder
  • 50 milliliter Saffron infused water
  • 15 Roasted cashews
  • 3 tablespoon Ghee
  • 3 tablespoon Oil
  • bunch Mint leaves
  • bunch cilantros
  • As required Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder freshly ground
  • 3 cup Water
