  • 0.13 teaspoon Cornstarch

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak the glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 2.Marinate the pork with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
  • STEP 3.Place a bamboo leaf on a flat surface and add a spoonful of soaked rice.
  • STEP 4.Add a piece of marinated pork and a salted egg yolk on top of the rice.
  • STEP 5.Cover with more rice and fold the bamboo leaf to form a pyramid shape.
  • STEP 6.Tie the dumpling securely with kitchen twine.
  • STEP 7.Steam the dumplings for about 2 hours or until the rice is cooked and tender.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot or at room temperature.
