It's mainly made of tomatoes as they are it's prime or main ingredient which is loved by all mainly in winter's as served HOT with bread cubes or sticks.Tomatoes makes blood & also helps in purifying it.It is available in winter's in large quantities & at less price so all the more liked by people mainly in winter season only.

Ingredients for Tomato Soup. Recipe

  • 0.40 nos Ripe Tomatoes - kg.
  • 0.60 nos Onion -
  • 1.20 nos Garlic cloves -
  • 1 nos Carrot small size -
  • 0.80 nos Vegetable stock - cups.
  • 1.60 nos Bay leaves -
  • 1.40 nos Salt & pepper to taste.
  • 1.60 nos Fresh basil.
  • 1.80 nos Dash of balsamic vinegar.
  • 2 nos olive oil.
  • 2.40 nos Plant based cream - tbsp.

Directions: Tomato Soup. Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash & dry Tomatoes,then chop roughly.Try to squeeze out excess water & seeds.Peel onion,garlic & carrot.Finely slice onion & garlic cloves & grate the carrot.
  • STEP 2.In a soup pot,heat olive Oil,then add onions & lightly fry them until translucent.Add grated carrots & garlic,stir-fry for about a minute or Two,until the carrots Tenderize.Then,add in chopped tomatoes & a dash of balsamic vinegar,stir well & let it cook down for a few Minutes,stirring regularly.
  • STEP 3.Add vegetable stock & bay leaves & season to taste with salt & pepper.Bring to a boil, then lower the heat & cook for about 15 min.
  • STEP 4.When tomatoes are cooked,remove pot from Heat,then remove bay leaves & blend into a smooth soup with a stick blender.
  • STEP 5.Roughly chop basil leaves & add to the soup for Taste & Garnish,add a tea-spoon of cream & serve HOT with bread cubes or stick as desired.
