Ingredients for tomato soup Recipe

  • 1/4 kg Chopped ripe tomatoes
  • 1/2 nos chopped carrot
  • 1/4 nos sliced onion
  • 1/4 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1/4 nos bay leaf
  • 1/2 nos Cloves
  • 1 nos whole black peppercorns
  • As required Salt
  • 0.13 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 3/4 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Butter
  • 1/2 nos glasses of water
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh cream

Directions: Tomato Soup Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat the butter in a cooker,add the garlic and onion and saute on medium flame for 1 minutes
  • STEP 2.Add the chopped tomatoes,bay leaf, cloves , black peppercorns and mix well
  • STEP 3.Add 2 glasses of water and salt mix well and pressure cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 whistle
  • STEP 4.Remove from the flame,allow the steam to escape before opening the lead and keep aside to cool, remove the bayleaf and discard it, allow the mixture to cool completely
  • STEP 5.Blend the mixture in a mixer till smooth and strain it using a strainer
  • STEP 6.Heat the pan, add the mixture of the tomato soup ,red chilli powder, black pepper powder,sugar and salt
  • STEP 7.Bring to a boil,while stirring occasionally and shimmer for 5 minutes
  • STEP 8.Garnish the tomato soup with fresh cream and serve hot with bread crutons.
