Ingredients for Tomato moong daal Recipe

  • 2 nos tbsp moong dal
  • 0-0.33 nos medium tomato
  • 0-0.33 nos tamarind pulp
  • 0.33 nos dry red chilli
  • 1 nos green chilli
  • 0.33 nos tsp mustard seeds
  • 0.08 nos Tsp turmeric powder
  • As required Salt
  • 0.67 nos tsp Mustard Oil
  • As required Water
  • 0.33 tsp Sugar

Directions: Tomato Moong Daal Recipe

  • STEP 1.Pressure cook Moong Dal in sufficient water along with roughly chopped Tomatoes.
  • STEP 2.In moderately heated pan add oil, allow to heat then add dry red chilli + mustard seeds and allow to crackle then add boiled Dal along with tomatoes. . Add turmeric powder + salt + green chilli + tamarind and boil for 4-5 minutes under high flame and then boil further for 3-4 minutes by adding sugar under medium flame. Dal is done.
