I have made South Indian Idli in a new way. This is a very unique and different recipe. This is my own dish. You will not find this recipe on YouTube. This idli is soft spongy and spicy. And that's an attractive dish in itself.

  • As required GREEN MASALA :-
  • 1/4 nos cup                     -  peas
  • 0.13 nos inch                    -  ginger
  • 0.63 nos -  green chilli
  • 0.03 nos cup                -  coriander leaves
  • 0.38 nos tsp                     -  oil
  • 0.06 nos tsp                 -  cumin
  • 0.13 nos pinch                -  turmeric powder
  • 0.13 nos tsp                    -  sugar
  • 0.06 nos tsp                -  salt
  • 1/4 nos pinch                -  tatari
  • 0.03 nos tsp                -  black pepper
  • 1/4 nos pinch                -  clove
  • 0.13 nos pinch                -  garam masala
  • 1/4 nos pinch                -  asafoetida
  • As required ORANGE BATTER :-
  • 1/4 nos tsp                    -  sugar
  • 1/4 nos -  green chilli
  • 1/4 nos pinch               -  asafoetida
  • 0.13 nos pinch               -  orange color
  • 1/4 nos tsp                   -  oil
  • 1/4 nos tsp                   -  curd
  • 0.19 gram and cup     - flour
  • 0.19 nos and cup     -  water
  • 0.13 nos tsp                   -  salt
  • 0.03 nos tsp               -  backing soda
  • As required WHITE BATTER :-
  • 0.19 nos and cup     -  rice flour
  • 0.19 nos and cup     -  water
  • 0.06 nos tsp               -  salt
  • 0.03 nos tsp               -  backing soda
  • 0.06 nos cup              -  oil
  • 0.13 nos tsp                   -  mustard
  • 0-0.63 nos -  curry leaves

Directions: Tiranga Matar Idli Recipe

  • STEP 1.PEAS MASALA :-
  • STEP 2.Jar me peas,ginger,green chilli aur coriander leaves dal kar crush kar lenge. Ab pan me oil garam karenge cumin,turmeric, crush peas,sugar,salt,tatari,black pepper,clove,garam masala,asafoetida dal kar dry hone tak bhun lenge.aur small tikki bna lenge.
  • STEP 3.ORANGE BATTER :-
  • STEP 4.jar me sugar,green chilli,asafoetida,orange color aur oil dal kar grind kr lenge. Curd, gram flour, water dal kar grind kr le. Aur 10 minute side me rakh de.
  • STEP 5.WHITE BATTER :-
  • STEP 6.rice flour me salt dal kar thik batter bna le aur 5 minute side me rakh de.
  • STEP 7.Idli mold me oil grees kar le. Aur dono batter me backing soda dal kar mix kar le.
  • STEP 8.Idli mold me peas tikki rakh kar white orange batter dal kar 15-20 minute steam le.
  • STEP 9.Idli thandi ho jaye to hot oil me mustard,curry leaves dal kar idli par dal de.
