  • 0.06 cup Split Yellow Moong Dal
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2.75 Ws

  • STEP 1.Dry roast the foxtail millet and moong dal until aromatic.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the roasted millet and dal with water, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds, black pepper, cashews, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked millet and dal to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.

  • Roasting the millet and dal enhances the flavor of the dish.
