Ingredients for Thekua Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Wheat flour
  • 0.35 cup Sugar powder
  • 1/2 tsp Desiccated coconut
  • 3/4 tbsp rava
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • As Required Water to knead
  • 1/4 Tsp Cardamom powder as per needed
  • 0.30 As Required Oil for deep frying

Directions: Thekua Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take the wheat flour, sugar, desiccated coconut, rava and cardamom powder in a bowl. Add the ghee and mix everything for few minutes until it becomes like a crumble.
  • STEP 2.Slowly sprinkle the water and knead into a stiff dough.
  • STEP 3.Roll out the dough into a thick disc and cut the dough with a cookie cutter.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a kadai and fry the cookies on both sides till they become crispy.
  • STEP 5.Cool and store in an air tight box. Serve as snack for tea.
