Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a large bowl, combine lemongrass, ginger, garlic, Thai chilies, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice.
  • STEP 2.Add the brisket to the marinade and coat it well. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 3.Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Remove the brisket from the marinade and place it in a roasting pan.
  • STEP 4.Pour the marinade over the brisket and cover the pan with foil. Cook in the oven for about 3-4 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
  • STEP 5.Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Cook for an additional 15-20 minutes to brown the top of the brisket.
