Delicious pan fried chicken wings coated in a teriyaki, honey and pepper sauce. These teriyaki chicken wings are marinated overnight and then baked in the oven for a tasty appetizer or main dish. And sure, you can buy teriyaki sauce at the grocery store, but it's much better when you make it from scratch—and it's not at all difficult.

Ingredients for Teriyaki Chicken Wings Recipe

  • 1 kilogram Chicken Wings
  • 5 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 80 milliliter Teriyaki sauce
  • 80 milliliter Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Black pepper powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Teriyaki Chicken Wings Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan on medium to low heat.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 add 1000 gm chicken wings, spread them out and fry for 5 minutes till golden on the bottom, then turn all the pieces over and fry for another 5 minutes till golden on both sides.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 then cover and cook on low heat for 8 minutes. Half way through, uncover the pan and turn the chicken wings over.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 next add 80 ml teriyaki sauce, 80 ml honey, 1 tbsp pepper powder and salt to taste and stir well.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 turn the heat to thigh and cook for a further 3 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 stir continuously till the sauce thickens and the chicken wings are well coated with the dark sticky sauce.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 transfer to a dishandserve hot.
