Ingredients for Tender Coconut Kheer Recipe

  • 0.80 cup Milk
  • 1/20 cup Sugar
  • 1/5 cup tender coconut flesh
  • As required Tender coconut water
  • 0.60 cup grated coconut
  • 0.40 cup Warm Water
  • As required Grated badam
  • As required Cardamom powder ( optional )

  • STEP 1.Elaneer Payasam/ Tender coconut Kheer
  • STEP 2.Tender coconut kheer is a quick and delicious dessert prepared with tender coconut water, tender coconut flesh, coconut milk , condensed milk and rabdi. It is served chilled and tastes fantastic
  • STEP 3.Boil 4 cup milk, until it reduces to 1 cup. Add 1/4 cup sugar until the sugar dissolves. Turn off the stove and let it cool completely.
  • STEP 4.Blend 1 cup of tender coconut flesh with 1/2 cup tender coconut water.
  • STEP 5.Extract one cup of coconut milk. Blend 3 cup grated coconut with 2 cup warm water and strain it with a clean cloth.
  • STEP 6.Mix all together in a bowl and refrigerate for 4 hours. Serve chilled. If prefferred you can add cashews sauteed in ghee or add grated badam.
