Ingredients for Tempura Recipe

  • 4 No.s prawns
  • 4 No.s sweet potato
  • 2 No.s slices of shiso
  • 2 No.s shiitake mushrooms
  • As required Oil
  • As required Batter
  • 50 gram plain flour
  • 75 milliliter ice cold water
  • 1 tablespoon kewpie mayonnaise
  • As required Dipping sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 tablespoon Dashi powder
  • 1/4 cup Mirin
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated daikon

Directions: Tempura Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Prepare the prawns and vegetables and set aside.

step 2

  • STEP 1.In a bowl add flour, ice cold water and mayonnaise. Mix together.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Now add prawns and vegetables to the batter. Coat them properly.

step 4

  • STEP 3.When cooked place them on a plate and fry the others.

step 5

  • STEP 4.Sauce add mirin to a small  saucepan and boil on high heat for a minute . Add water, soy sauce and dashi powder. Bring to boil.

step 6

  • STEP 5.Place the sauce in a bowl and then serve with tempura. Pour a cup of dipping sauce on it.
