Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil on a tawa or flat griddle and add sliced onions. Cook until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated chicken pieces to the tawa and cook on medium heat until they are cooked through and tender.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the tawa. Cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 5.Serve the tawa chicken hot with naan or rice.
