Ingredients for Tandoori Gobi/ Cauliflower Recipe

  • As required For Marination
  • 0-1/4 nos big flowerlets of cauliflower
  • 0.13 cup hung curd
  • 0-1/4 tbsp roasted besan
  • 1/4 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 tbsp tandoori masala(living beyond)
  • 1/4 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp heated oil
  • As required For gravy
  • 1/2 nos Onion
  • 0-1/4 nos tomatotes
  • 1/2 nos green chilli
  • 1/4 nos Garlic pod
  • 0.13 inch Ginger
  • 1/4 nos Elaichi
  • 1/4 nos stick cinnamon
  • 0-1/4 nos Cashew
  • 1/4 tbsp melon seeds
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
  • As required Water

Directions: Tandoori Gobi/ Cauliflower Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil flowerlets in water with salt n haldi. It should be half cooked.
  • STEP 2.Drain water.
  • STEP 3.Mix all marinated ingredients. Add flowerlets
  • STEP 4.Marinate properly. Give smoke flavour from coal. Keep for 15-30 min Grill the cauliflower. Or in tandoor or gas. Keep aside
  • STEP 5.Chop 1onion, heat oil in kadai add n saute till translucent, add 3tomatoes garlic ginger cashew, melon seeds, elaichi, cinnamon saute till tomatoes are soft add water and cook for some time.
  • STEP 6.Let it cool n then grind to paste. Before grinding remove cinnamon stick.
  • STEP 7.Heat oil in kadai/ pan add oil, then add finely chopped onion, green chilli, saute till translucent, add onion tomato paste, saute till oil separates.
  • STEP 8.Add red chilli powder, tandoori masala, salt. Cook for another 5 mins. Add water according to the consistency. Add grilled cauliflower mix. Garnish with cream n coriander leaves
  • STEP 9.Serve with tandoori roti n Basmati Jeera Rice
