Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Saute until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated chicken and cook until it turns brown on all sides.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, dry roast the spices for the Agri masala - coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, and dry red chilies. Grind them into a fine powder.
  • STEP 5.Add the Agri masala powder to the chicken and mix well. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add tomato puree, tamarind pulp, and water. Mix everything together.
  • STEP 7.Cover the pan and let the chicken simmer on low heat until it is cooked through and the flavors are well blended.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or bhakri.
