Imli chutney is a popular Indian condiment used to make chats and is also served with many snacks. This sweet and tangy tamarind chutney is extremely flavourful and tastes delicious.
STEP 1.Add some tamarind, dates, jaggery and water in a pan.

STEP 1.Stir and boil this mixture for 10 minutes.

STEP 1.Add the remaining ingredients into the pan and give it a stir.

STEP 1.Simmer it for two minutes.

STEP 1.Use a hand blender to make a smooth puree out of it.

STEP 1.Strain with a sieve and discard the pulp.

STEP 1.Transfer the chutney into a glass jar and refrigerate.
