The talisker pina colada is a western adaptation of the puerto rican beverage that has come to symbolise the beach, sun, and sea. Normally, rum is used in this cocktail, but by deviating from the norm, one can make something with a little additional bite. One such approach is to substitute talisker 10 single malt whisky for the customary white rum. A whisky pina colada, sometimes known as a "Cowboy colada, " Combines the acidity of the beverage with the peaty, smoky qualities of single malt whisky. Simply said, it was the original drink blended with more sugar. For this variation of the cocktail, a shaker will work just fine instead of a blender. Shaking the ice and coconut milk transforms the cocktail's typically dense texture into one that is creamier and smoother.
